⚠ Note: It comes with an electrical sub-panel which you can wire for your critical loads in which case this kit will acts as a smart transfer swtich. Rewiring your loads into the critical load sub-panel is OPTIONAL. If you don't do that, the system will monitor power coming into the house using ampere meter clamps on your main and only produce enough power to match your in-house electrical loads in real time (to keep the power coming in or going out to the grid to 0Amp. The upside of this approach is a much easier install. The downside to this approach is that when the power goes out, you must MANUALLY turn off the main breaker to your house in order to allow the system to safely product power to your house.
